I am pleased to announce my participation in « In-between ; collector's gaze », the exhibition organized by Galerie 12, at 12 rue des Beaux-Arts, Paris 6e.
The spirit of the exhibition is based on the counterpoint of known and recognized artists and young outsiders.
On this occasion, I had the chance to share the walls, among others, with an ink of Henri Michaux, works of Georges Matthieu, Hans Hartung, Sol Lewitt or even a portrait of 1922 of Picasso by Man Ray…
I will present two tables of the series « Interlaced Landscapes », series dealing with the question of narration inside an abstract work. The viewer also contributes to « Do » the painting as well as the artist, also offering his own story. I hope everyone can resonate with this proposal.
I imagine that Henry Michaux could not deny this idea, as a witness to a complex and abundant inner world.
Gallery 12 is held by a confirmed collector, whom I thank here for his confidence and this valuable invitation.
For a period of one month, the exhibition takes place throughout February 2024.
Amically,
Lancelot Blondeel
